About Kristen L. Beebe, MS, PA-C

A nationally certified Physician Assistant with Mayo Clinic Arizona since 1999. Transitioned to Phoenix Children's Hospital in 2004 to focus on Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant. She feels blessed and has enjoyed being a part of many lives touched by the challenges of cancer and other diseases that require bone marrow transplant. For the last 7 years, her focus has been to building the allogeneic bone marrow transplant long term survivor clinic at Phoenix Children's Hospital. For the last 2 years, she has worked with community supporters to develop quarterly social activities for adolescent and young adults to promote socialization and support to those dealing with the challenges of transplant, cancer therapy and survivorship. She has presented several posters at National and International Conferences on the impact of Vitamin D adult and pediatric bone marrow transplant and cancer patients. She is the Principal Investigator on two multicenter national late effect protocols and participates in the PBMTC late effects protocol development working group. She has ongoing projects looking at quality of life and post-traumatic stress to improve the care of patients and families.
