The goal of the statistical consultation services is to facilitate and enhance the research capability of Phoenix Children's Hospital investigators, and to provide instructional and collaborative opportunities for trainees and staff across the various clinical divisions.

Before we initiate any project, it is expected that the investigator will provide us with a working knowledge of the science, the study protocol and other logistics of the study which will enable us to provide the investigator(s) with a working knowledge of statistical principles and advise on the statistical methodology appropriate for the study.

The work plan for the study will be developed collaboratively with the investigator(s) including development of the study design, sample size and power calculations, data cleaning and statistical analyses, interpretation of the results, conclusions, and preparation of abstracts, posters and manuscripts to disseminate study findings.
